where fire meets flavor
TEAM REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
We are now accepting team registrations for the inaugural Meat & Tater BBQ Fest, a KCBS-sanctioned Master Series competition taking place Labor Day Weekend in Meridian, Idaho. This is your chance to be part of a first-year event that’s bringing Pitmasters together from across the region and beyond for a high-caliber cook-off and community celebration.
Teams will compete in the four official KCBS categories: Chicken, Ribs, Pork, and Brisket, with an optional Idaho Potato Ancillary Category. We’re proud to offer a total prize purse of $16,000, with cash awards and recognition for top teams.
As part of this family-friendly festival, we also welcome and encourage teams interested in vending BBQ to the public. If you’re interested in vending, please indicate so on your registration form. Space is limited and vending opportunities will be coordinated individually. Please note proceeds from this event will go back to the Treasure Valley and directly support life-changing causes for those in need.
