Boise native Jay William Miller blends Idaho grit with rock and roll heart. Described as “sad boys that like to party,” his band delivers raw emotion, rowdy energy, and a sound influenced by Nathaniel Rateliff, Noah Gundersen, and Willie Nelson.

The Madcap Laughs are a Boise-based jam band founded in 2020. Drawing from 1960s counterculture and inspired by legends like the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, James Brown, and Tower of Power, they blend classic jam grooves with modern influences like King Gizzard, Ween, and Built to Spill. More than a band, The Madcap Laughs create a community and an experience for all to enjoy.
